nothing WASTED

The 2023 exhibition in the Crypt Gallery represented the culmination of three years of work with ‘found’ materials, mostly mylar packaging, a pervasive forever land-fill waste material.

This is used for storing perishable foods and fluids and in agriculture. The micro-thin aluminium coating is primed with gesso, then painted and abrased, giving the substrate a life of its own.
